Maximum quality :

At all stages, there is a demand for high quality standards. Right from the initial procurement and inspection of materials, which are carried out under the responsibility of an integrated laboratory working with the most sophisticated equipment in order to investigate essential characteristics, to the final unitary inspections. This dynamism is maintained by a system of “Continuous Improvement” with ASB and MSB both participating in the international “World Class” programme.

  
  
A complete but ever-increasing range :

In addition to the traditional segments of Thermal Batteries of around 1 kW for a few minutes, the ASB Group continues to push back the frontiers of the two extremes of its range of applications. Process innovations are enabling batteries to be developed in order to satisfy the requirements of very small self-activating batteries on the one hand, while on the other, electrochemical progress now permits the use of very high power applications.

  
Exclusive ASB Group technology :

As well as technology involving the use of anodes based on alloys of lithium and calcium, the ASB Group now offers exclusive LAN (lithium anode) technology. This technology is particular suited to the production of high power thermal batteries as it incorporates optimum performance in specific energy. It is this aspect of electrochemistry, which, in combination with a thermo-electric modeling system of the functioning of thermal batteries, has resulted in the development of current emergency energy applications.		  
Complete equipment :

Because the distinctive feature of ASB Group thermal batteries is ultimately their incorporation into highly demanding systems, equipment is needed that can integrate wherever necessary: mechanical fastenings, components for structures and caps, printed circuits and other protected electrical interface components. Another exclusive feature of the ASB Group is the cooperation with the Hermetics Division for the design of connector wires for the integration of standard connectors. In this way, the batteries can be integrated easily and without risk.
